Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban features Popcornmonsters.com actor of the week Daniel Radcilffe as Hogwarts School wizard student Harry Potter. Harry Potter(Daniel Radcliffe) starts his third year with his two best friends Ron Weasley(Rupert Grint)and Hermione Granger(Emma Watson). They hear about a loose prisoner Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) who is after Harry. This year is much darker and scarier then the first two with Sirius Black loose and the Azkaban guards dementors who make you see and hear your worst memory and they can suck out your and leave you as a empty shell they call it the kiss. Harry has help to make the dementors go away from his new defense against the dark arts teacher Professor Lupin (David Thewis). Harry also finds out things from his past in which he did not know.
Harry actually wants to hurt Black even kill him. There are also new creatures in this film and just as much humor with the same cast apart from Dumbledore who is played by Micheal Gambon who takes over the late Richard Harris. This film is also more emotional as well as scarier than the first two films. So I think this is the best film so far and can't wait to see how they do the other books. So go see this now!
I like this film because they stayed mostly to the book and plus it's my favorite out of the books. Also this one keeps away from the kiddish kind of film and goes much darker for teens and adults. There are also new characters in this one and the films get funnier as they go on and the new director made the film have a different feel. In this one you can tell they have grown from the first two and have become teenagers. I think the only thing I disliked in the film was the bit when they went in to the shrieking shack because they don't explain everything but they probably didn't have enough time. I still like this film much better although some people don't. I would recommend you to go to see this in the cinema.
