This movie stars Kevin Farley as Hollywood "documentary" director Michael Malone. He hates America and wants to show it through his somewhat truthful documentaries showing what's so bad, and how other countries are better. The whole movie is narrated by Leslie Nielsen who is telling the story to a group of children at a 4th of July picnic. Michael Malone wants to get rid of the 4th of July. He is approached by some terrorists, unknown to him, who are looking for a director for their recruitment video. They mistakenly believe he is a big time Hollywood director. The movie follows Michael Malone as he is visited by spirits who try to show him the true meaning of America. Kelsey Grammar does a good job playing Gen. Patton who takes Michael through some interesting situations like shooting at the living-dead ACLU lawyers. John Voight plays George Washington, and Trace Adkins appears as himself. Following the Christmas Carol theme Michael has a nephew who wishes to see his uncle more, the only problem is he is in the navy which Michael hates. A funny movie, it could have been funnier, but overall pretty good.
