Unstable Fables: 3 Pigs and a Baby Movie Review by LeoRuby
This was cute, animated kids movie with a twist on the three little pigs. It's made by the Jim Henson Company and stars the voices of Brad Garret, Jon Cryer, Steve Zahn, and Jesse McCartney. The three pigs Mason(Garret), Richard(Cryer), and Sandy(Zahn) live in homes of brick, sticks and straw. The movie begins with the Big Bad Wolf trying to blow their houses in. Back in the abandoned warehouse is the rest of the wolf pack watching and guiding him through and ear piece. It's kind of funny to see this as some covert operation. Well, you know how the Big Bad Wolf ends up...he can't blow down the house of bricks and falls into the fire as he tries to enter through the chimney. The wolves are devastated and try to come up with a new plan. Dr. Wolfowicz comes up with "the package". A baby wolf is planted on the pigs doorstep whom they raise as their own son. He is raised as a pig with three dads, attends pig academy, and has a pig for a friend. They even name him Lucky. The funny thing is no one ever seems to notice that he is really a wolf. His three dads all live together as two are still having trouble rebuilding their homes years after the Big Bad Wolf destroyed them. Lucky grows into a teenager, rebels, and feels that he doesn't belong. From here you will have to watch the movie to see what the wolves plan is. Will they eat the three pigs? Will Lucky realize he is a wolf and turn on his dads? Will they stay a family? This is a funny movie with lots of little jokes. It was enjoyable to watch. If you're looking for a different kids movie you will probably like this one.
