This was a cute movie, a good movie for families to watch together. It stars Ben Stiller as a man that can never has a steady job, but who is looking for one to provide more stability for his son who mainly lives with his ex-wife. He finds a job at the Museum of Natural History as the night watchman because they are laying off the other guards. Dick Van Dyke plays the head security guard who gives Stiller little information about his new job. The first night he finds out that all the people and animals in the museum come alive and stay that way until dawn. It's a pretty funny movie, although I thought it could have been a little better. It reminded me of a similar idea as the movie Jumanji, which I think is a lot better. Every night he has to keep everything under control and let nothing leave or it will turn to dust at dawn. The museum in under the spell of the Tablet of Akmen Rah. Stiller's character gets some help from Teddy Roosevelt, played by Robin Williams. Will he be able to keep this job? How will he control the museum at night? What else have the old security guards not told him? This makes a good family movie.
