Breaking Upwards Movie Review by star757
Breaking Upwards opens April 2.
This movie provides a very different take on the romantic comedy. It's an independent film that follows its own path. Daryl Wein and Zoe-Lister Jones star and the movie is based on their real relationship. When the movie begins they decide to orchestrate their break up. Instead of just calling it quits they will have days together and days off. How can this work? What kind of relationship is this? Will they be committed to each other or find new love? Then you throw in their Jewish parents; how will they react. It's an interesting movie and very different from your average big screen comedy-romance. It explores their emotions and what they really think about their relationship and themselves. It's entertaining and worth the watch because it's not the same old thing.
