Homecoming movie review...coming to theaters July 17!
Homecoming Movie Review by star757
Suspenseful, scary, and keeps you guessing what will happen next. I thought this was a very good movie. A good story kept the movie going, and this one didn't need any special effects or over the top events. This movie is about a high school football star, Mike (played by Matt Long) who returns home from college with a new girlfriend, Elizabeth (played by Jessica Stroup). His high school sweetheart Shelby (played by Mischa Barton) never really forgot about him. In fact, she is obsessed with him and doesn't believe they are really broken up. After there first night in Mike's hometown, Elizabeth disappears. What happened to her? Did she go back to an ex-boyfriend? Was she nervous about meeting Mike's parents, or is there something sinister going on? You might be able to guess that Shelby has something to do with it. I don't want to give too much away. The best movies are the ones where you don't already know the whole movie from a trailer or review. This movie has a small cast, but the acting is well done and believable. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie. It keeps you on the edge of your seat watching for what will happen next and trying to guess how it's all going to end. The story line is interesting and the whole movie comes together with all the pieces coming together at the end. Thrilling, scary, suspenseful...one you will enjoy watching at the theater. Watch it in theaters July 17.
