Defending your Life Movie Review

This movie stars Albert Brooks as Daniel, a man who recently died. The movie opens with him receiving a CD player and Cd's as gift at work. He then goes to get his new BMW equipped with a CD player. Well, as he's reaching for some CD's his car collides with a bus. This movie is about what happens after his death. He is sent to Judgment City. This is where you go after death and you must defend your life. Each person is given an attorney and a prosecuter. Everything is pleasant in Judgement City. The weather is nice, you can eat as much as you like without worry, you can even see who you were in past lives. Everyone spends a few days on "trial". Here they view scenes from their life and the judges decide if you are ready to move forward, or go back to Earth to become smarter and face your fears. On Earth people use 3-5% of their brains, in Judgement City they use about 45%. Albert Brooks' defense is not going so well when he meets Julia. She is also defending her life, but is probably going to move on. They fall in love in the few short days they have, but will it last? Will Brooks' character move on or have to return to Earth? What about Julia? This is a good movie, and I would recommend watching it.
